Who is Jesus?

Many know Him as a teacher, prophet, miracle worker, Saviour, and the Lamb of God. Yet Scripture reveals something even greater.

At the centre of this artwork is the Hebrew word Ehyeh (אֶהְיֶה) — “I AM” — the divine name God revealed to Moses at the burning bush. Centuries later, Jesus declared, “Before Abraham was, I AM” (John 8:58), identifying Himself with the eternal God. Throughout John’s Gospel, He continues to reveal His identity: the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection and the Life, and the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Hebrews 1:8 records the Father addressing the Son: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,” while Thomas worships the risen Christ, proclaiming, “My Lord and my God!”

This artwork invites us to move beyond asking, What has Jesus done for me? and instead confront the greater question:

Who is Jesus?

If Jesus is truly the eternal I AM, then He is worthy not merely of admiration, but of worship.

The Lamb is God. The Son is God. The Messiah is God. Jesus Christ is God.
