This piece reimagines Michelangelo’s iconic scene—no longer depicting distance, but divine invitation. The pierced hand of Jesus, the Second Adam, reaches fully toward mankind, offering reconciliation through His sacrifice. The other hand, still slightly withheld, represents humanity’s need to respond.

Bathed in gold, the background reflects God’s glory and the incorruptible nature of the gift.
