THE LAMB UPON THE THRONE

Inspired by Revelation 5:6–13

This painting reflects Jesus as the Lamb who was slain— now glorified and enthroned. The gold leaf background symbolizes His divinity and eternal reign. Depicted tender yet triumphant, the Lamb represents Christ’s sacrifice and victory. As Revelation 5:6 reveals, He appears as one who had been slain, yet stands at the center of the throne. The artwork invites viewers to contemplate the mystery of Christ— who bore our sin, conquered death, and is now worshipped in heaven: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain…” (Revelation 5:12).
