THE CUP AND THE COVENANT

R5 500,00

Inspired by Matthew 26:26–28 & Matthew 26:39

This piece draws us into the heart of the Gospel —the table of communion and the garden of surrender. The humble cup and bread symbolize the Last Supper, where Jesus offers His body and blood as the foundation of a new covenant. Yet the cup also points to Gethsemane, where Jesus, in perfect obedience, chose to drink the cup of God’s wrath meant for us. The golden arc behind the cup echoes the divine exchange: wrath turned into mercy, judgment into joy.

One cup, two meanings —the cost of redemption and the fulfillment of prophecy.
