POURED OUT

Inspired by Matthew 26:6–13, Mark 14:3– 9, Luke 7:36–50

This mixed media piece features a broken alabaster jar, its cracks deliberately unmended. From these fissures flows gold—symbolizing the costly perfume poured out in fearless worship by a woman who recognized Jesus for who He was. The artwork reflects her bold act of devotion and the words of Jesus: “She has done a beautiful thing to Me” (Mark 14:6). The gold streaming from the brokenness speaks to our own fragility— how God releases beauty and fragrance through surrendered, imperfect lives.

A call to be poured out for Christ, this piece reminds us that even our cracks can carry His glory. (2 Corinthians 4:7)
